Yesterday morning, Michelle had the opportunity to speak on CTV about the serious shortage of medical laboratory professionals and why this conversation can’t wait. Almost every part of patient care depends on accurate, timely lab testing — yet too often, the people behind that work remain invisible. Properly staffed labs aren’t optional; they’re essential to public health, and lab professionals deserve a much bigger voice in the healthcare dialogue.
