To: All OSMT Stakeholders Date: Monday September 24th, 2018 From: Ontario Society of Medical Technologists (OSMT) Re: Name Change - OSMT to MLPAO
On Saturday September 22nd, 2018 the 56th Annual General Meeting of the OSMT the membership unanimously voted to change the corporation name to “The Medical Laboratory Professionals’ Association of Ontario (MLPAO)”.
The MLPAO properly reflects the operations of the corporation as representatives of Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLTs) and Medical Laboratory Assistant/Technicians.
The implementation of the new name will occur over the next six months. Please feel free to share this information with your network.
